Clay Clash: Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 October 2026
Clay Clash ("the game") is made by Bui Dinh Dan ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the game uses, why, and the choices you have. It covers the iOS and Android apps and the browser version at https://clayclash.buidan.com.
Summary
- No accounts and no sign-in. We never ask for your name, email, contacts, photos or precise location.
- Your progress is saved on your device.
- The mobile apps show optional rewarded ads (get back on the table, double your loot, free Glaze Gems) and an occasional full-screen ad between matches through Google AdMob. The browser version shows the same kinds of ads through Google AdSense.
- The game contains no analytics SDK of its own.
- Online play sends gameplay data to our game server only while you play online.
- We do not sell your information.
Data Collection & Analytics
Stored on your device
Your progress, settings, blob name, cosmetics and currencies are stored only on your device (in the browser version, in your browser's local storage). They are never sent to us. Deleting the game, or clearing site data in your browser, deletes them.
Online play
When you choose online play, the game connects over an encrypted connection (TLS) to our game server (wss://play.swarmzone.click/clay-clash). The server receives:
- Your blob name and look, shown to other players in the match or friend room.
- Your controls and in-game state, used only to run the match and discarded when it ends.
- Your leaderboard entry: a random anonymous player ID created on your device, blob name, colour, trophy points and wins, shown on the public global leaderboard.
- Your IP address, which is part of any internet connection. It may appear briefly in server logs for security and troubleshooting.
There is no chat. Offline matches against computer players send nothing to our server.
Advertising
The mobile apps show optional rewarded ads (get back on the table, double your loot, free Glaze Gems) and an occasional full-screen ad between matches through Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect device and advertising identifiers, approximate location derived from your IP address, ad interactions and diagnostic data. Ads are never required to play.
Analytics
The game does not use Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics or any other analytics SDK.
Notifications
If you allow reminders, the mobile apps schedule local notifications on your device. They are created on the device; no push service or server is involved.
Browser version
The browser version at clayclash.buidan.com shows ads through Google AdSense (H5 Games Ads): optional rewarded ads you choose to watch, and an occasional ad between matches. To show and measure them, Google uses cookies or similar technologies and may collect your IP address, browser and device information and ad interactions. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, Google's consent message asks for your choice before personalised ads are shown. The browser version loads no analytics scripts.
Our web host may keep standard access logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.

Your choices: in the EEA, UK and Switzerland the game asks for your consent through Google's consent form before any ad loads, and you can change it any time in the game's Privacy Options. On iOS the game asks for permission before using your advertising identifier (App Tracking Transparency); you can change this in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings. In the browser, you can change your choice through Google's consent message, manage ad personalisation at https://adssettings.google.com, or clear cookies for clayclash.buidan.com.
Children's Privacy (COPPA)
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, in line with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar laws. Ads are configured as not child-directed and limited to content suitable for teens. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the game, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
Account & Data Deletion
The game has no accounts, so there is no account to delete. To delete your data:
- On your device: uninstall the app (or, in the browser, clear site data for clayclash.buidan.com). This removes everything the game stored.
- Global leaderboard: email [email protected] with your blob name and we will remove your entry within 30 days.
- Advertising data: data collected by Google AdMob and Google AdSense is controlled by Google. You can reset your advertising ID in your device settings or manage it at https://myadcenter.google.com.
Security
Information sent by the game travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
